Climate Change
Considering the significance and the complexities of the climate change challenges for transboundary river basins, in November 2015, the International Sava River Basin Commission signed Paris Pact on Water and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Basins of Rivers, Lakes and Aquifers, and joined the family of more than 300 governments, international organizations, donors, national and transboundary basin organizations, local authorities, the civil society and companies calling for action on climate change adaptation.
The climate change issue is addressed in the Sava River Basin based on national climate change policies and legislations, available information on future trends, and results of the relevant project implementation, providing the suggestions for further steps.
