Ninth Meeting of the Parties to the FASRB

The meeting was attended by high representatives of all Parties to the Framework Agreement: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Serbia and Republic of Slovenia, as well as Montenegro and invited guests - representatives of partner organizations, observers and other relevant institutions and representatives of the Sava Youth Parliament.
 
The key objective of the Meeting was to review the status of implementation of the Framework Agreement and the achievement of the International Sava River Basin Commission in the past three years and to consider key challenges ahead, particularly those related to the cooperation in river basin management, flood risk management, rehabilitation of navigation and exchange of the basin wide relevant data and information.
 
Particular attention was given to the sustainable development issues and river basin management planning along with the guidance provided for further cooperation within the framework of the International Sava River Basin Commission.
