Stakeholders Involvement
Pursuant to the World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, stakeholder engagement is continuous process implemented throughout project life cycle through which the ISRBC identifies, communicates, and facilitates two-way dialogue with all stakeholders interested in the Project and as well persons affected or may be affected by Project activities.
Communication and information channels for all identified stakeholders are designed in line with their needs. Participatory process would be used to get comments and proposals during the development of the regional studies and plans of the basin wide importance. Stakeholder requests, needs and expectations would be identified and considered. Regional Project Implementation Unit, within the ISRBC, will establish appropriate communication with stakeholder groups to inform them regularly on the regional project activities.
